The Tory Burch fashion label (www.toryburch.com), a luxury lifestyle brand, was created in 2004. It’s said that the first flagship store nearly sold out on their opening day. In 2005, Tory Burch was endorsed by Oprah Winfrey on her show. While there are many ways to misspell the brand name, (Tori Burch, Torry Burch…even Tony Burch), I absolutely love the Tory Burch emblem (which is the iconic T-logo) because of its clean timeless design. I’ve been craving the Reva ballet flats for a long time and I adore my Tory Burch Robinson Satchel. If there are ever any Tory Burch sales or coupon codes, I’ll be sure to share those, but in the meantime here are all of my Tory Burch reviews!

Proenza Schouler PS1 Medium Leather in Raspberry
I woke up one morning in love! In love with the Proenza Schouler PS1 bag! Although I’ve seen it around for years, I never thought much of this bag. I’ve always thought that it looks very chic in black but I felt that it wasn’t “me”. That is until I laid eyes on the PS1 medium leather in raspberry. Isn’t it a beauty?

I’ve been looking for a comfortable crossbody bag in a shade of red and I think Raspberry is gorgeous. I want to see it in person since I’ve learned never to trust color shades via computer/laptop screen and I’m extra particular when it comes to red-purple tones. I’m hoping that it leans darker than lighter. This would be the PERFECT accessory for the Fall brightening up any look!
The PS1 in Lipstick is really pretty too!
I like the PS1 in medium (12.5 x 4 x 8.5 inches) but wonder if it’s too small for me since I’m used to carrying much larger bags. Also, I’ve read that the strap on the medium is too short to carry comfortably as a crossbody. The large is 14 x 5 x 11 inches priced at $1,995 and has a longer shoulder strap so that you can comfortably hold crossbody. I’m only seeing the large in Lipstick and not Raspberry on the website.
If you’re like me and find the Proenza Schouler bags quite pricey, I’ve found a cheaper Raspberry alternative! It’s the Tory Burch Robinson Gusset Crossbody Bag!

Holiday 2012 Collaboration!
Target announced that they will be releasing a HUGE designer collaboration with 24 well-known designers and Neiman Marcus this winter’s holiday collection.
Excited yet?? Let me drop some names- Oscar de la Renta, Proenza Schouler, Rag & Bone and yes, TORY BURCH!!!
The 24 designers will be coming out with 1-3 pieces from $7.99 – $499.99 sold at both Target and Neiman Marcus.
I’m so so excited for what’s to come and what the designers come up with. I’m most excited to see what Tory Burch releases at Target. Affordable Tory Burch designs? Yes please!! Fingers crossed for a cute affordable handbag, haha.

Tory Burch Robinson Tote (Double Zip) VS Tory Burch Robinson Satchel Official Review
UPDATE from my Tory Burch Robinson crave post!! 
So I HAD to buy both bags in order to do a good comparison. Since my local Nordstrom did not carry either of the bags, I had to order both online. The Tory Burch Robinson Double Zip tote was purchased on Bloomingdales during their friends and family sale and the Robinson Satchel was purchased on the official Tory Burch website.

can I just say, AH-MAZING packaging! Totally made me even more loyal to the brand!

And here are the couple pictures of the Tory Burch Robinson Double Zip Tote (ordered from Bloomingdales online) that I took.
As you can tell, I was not too impressed hence the lack of photos.
The packaging? A cardboard box with tons of stuffing for protection.

AND NOW THE COMPARISON-
Tory Burch Robinson Satchel vs Tory Burch Robinson Tote
As you can see, they are very simliar in style
The Tote is a bit larger but also slimmer
Price? The Satchel is $550 while the Double Zip tote is $575
My ultimate decision was that I went with the Satchel. Why? I think a large factor was that while it is still a pretty heavy bag on its own, it is still LIGHTER than the Double-Zip Tote!
I originally wanted the Double-Zip tote for my ipad/laptop but I couldn’t imagine having to lug all that weight around!
I believe the extra weight comes from the double-zips. Extra layers = extra weight.
I’ve decided to look around for a lighter “work” tote and return the Double-Zip tote.
While Husband told me to keep both bags, I really couldn’t justify owning two that are THAT similar.
In the end, I LOVE my Tory Burch Robinson Satchel. The quality is amazing and I’m definitely a loyal for life!

Tory Burch Robinson Tote (Double Zip) and Tory Burch Robinson Satchel
Hi All!
So I’ve been trying to decide on what new bag that I want for my belated birthday present from the Hubs. My eyes are on the Tory Burch Robinson satchel and Tory Burch Robinson tote (double zip). Both are top handles but also come with a longer strap for cross-body use. I love the Robinson line from Tory Burch. The material feels and looks great and is also very scratch resistant. Either way, I’m excited for my very first Tory Burch bag. 
If you’ve already noticed, the Tory Burch double zip tote is VERY similar to the Prada double zip tote. I’ve been eyeing that one for a while now BUT it’s nearly 2K while Tory Burch is only $575. I like that I’ll be able to use it for every day use and I can stick my laptop in it if I want to go to a cafe/bookstore.
Is anyone else super excited for the Hunger Games movie? I was obsessed with the series once I discovered it about a year ago. I’m so glad that I was a late reader- I don’t know if I could have waited for each book to come out. I think I finished the series in about a week. My co-worker was telling me about how a line of Hunger Games nail polish came out so I had to look it up. Good job China Glaze for growing their brand/business through this book!
I love seeing how books are translated into successful movies and other business ventures. For example, Harry Potter did a good job of capturing an audience of people who did not read the books. Also, Harry Potter Land?? Twilight, on the other hand, could have been so much better! I could go on and on about how I would have done things differently to capture another market of fans BUT I won’t bore you…
Anyway, I hope you’ve been having a great month and can wake up with a BEAUTYFULL smile tomorrow.
