Urban Decay Smoked Palette Review

Look what came in the mail today!! My Urban Decay Smoked Palette!!

I was so excited when my husband pulled the package out of our mailbox and waved it at me! I honestly was not expecting to receive it so soon so I was happily surprised.

So here it is!
Urban Decay Smoked Palette – $49 at Sephora

This is the box!

Inside is the palette that includes the 10 eyeshadow set, a mini primer potion,
a full size 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil in Perversion and a tutorial booklet with 12 different
smokey eye looks.

The mirror is great quality (not warped)

The pigmentation on all the shadows are really good.
Wouldn’t expect any less from Urban Decay
There isn’t too much fall out and I really appreciate that the shadows are not glittery.
Every color is very wearable!
Also, the last a long time without fading or creasing.

I do wish that Freestyle was a little bit darker so that I could use it as my warm-tone blending shade.

I love that this set comes with a 24/7 Glide-on eye pencil and primer potion!
Perversion does set quickly so I recommend working one eye at a time.
If you want an eyeliner that gives you more time to blend, you can try MAC Kohl Liner in Feline.
The mini Primer Potion is too cute! Great for travel and on-the-go!

A couple looks in the tutorial booklet that I’m excited to try!

The tutorials are very step by step and easy to follow!
For those of you with asian eyes (monolids) like me, just tweak the instructions to fit your eye shape!

I really recommend the Urban Decay Smoked Palette set.
It’s everything you would need to create a multitude of beautiful smokey eye looks.
Also you can tone it down by just using the more neutral shades – my favorite is of course Mushroom!
I love that there are no eyeshadows that I would never touch.
Each one will be used in due time.
The packaging makes it super easy to take with you on a trip or in your purse if you know you’re going to vamp things up later. You just zip it up and you’re ready to go!

At $49 I think it’s totally worth every penny.
