I know my posts have been irregular this week but I’ve been under the weather which also means that my creative juices have completely stopped flowing. All I want to do these days is sleep and relax. So what does one do while sick in bed? Online shopping of course!
Strange enough, I’ve been having a bit of a makeup dry-spell (Hubs must be praying hard, haha)! I’m actually feeling pretty content with my collection and don’t feel that oh-so-familiar urge to go out and buy more beauty goodies! Freaky, I know! BUT to make my poor sickly self feel a bit better, I decided to browse through Sephora to see if anything would catch my eye.
Here are a few things that I know I need or wouldn’t mind having if it happened to end up in my collection, har har.
Shiseido Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector Broad Spectrum SPF 42 $30
By far the best SPF that I’ve tried on my face. It doesn’t feel like normal sunblock and also smells lovely!
I think I’ll definitely need to pick this up soon since I’m noticing the damage the sun had on my skin over the past summer.
I’m absolutely in love with my Beauty Blender! It’s by far the best tool for applying foundation and gives me the best finish I’ve ever had. Can’t believe it’s taken me so long to try it out! I unfortunately only ordered 1 sponge when I first bought it so I really need the special cleanser now. I’ve tried using warm water and face soap but it just doesn’t seem to deep clean it. Should have bought the set to begin with!
BeautyBlender and BlenderCleanser Set $34.95
While I love my matte bronzer Benefit Hoola, I’ve had my eye on NARS Laguna for a long time now. I’ve had it used on me for a couple weddings and I really liked it! This will be a good addition to my collection for the Spring/Summer!
NARS Laguna Bronzer $34
I’ve been thinking about putting more effort into concealing my dark circles and overall brightening my face. I’ve been so curious about Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat – Radiant Touch since it has the best reviews and I’ve seen many gurus on Youtube using it. I’ll definitely need to be matched for a shade soon.
Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat – Radiant Touch $40
Hmm… no new lipsticks, eyeshadows or blushes are really catching my eye – quite strange. Although I’m excited to see all the Spring collections start to roll out. I’m sure I’ll find a few goodies to pick up from there. Or maybe I’ll just forever be happy with what I have in my collection already? I doubt it… but maybe. Seriously considering starting Project 10 pan. :]
Wishing you a healthy and happy Thursday!
