2012 Beauty Favorites

Can you believe it?

It’s the last day of 2012! Happy New Year’s Eve everyone!

I wanted to end the year by sharing with you my favorite beauty products of 2012!  Some products were released this year, some are older- but these are all the favs that I discovered this year and are new to me!

Let’s start with favorite palette!  I’m such a sucker for eyeshadow palettes but I try my best to resist since I end up with some colors that never go touched.  But I had to cave when I laid eyes on the Urban Decay Smoked Palette!  The shades are beautiful and unique to my collection. Plus, it’s so easy having one go-to palette when I’m craving a smokey eye!

Next is my favorite single eyeshadow of the year! Boy was this a tough one to choose!  Surprisingly the winner doesn’t come from MAC but actually NARS!  It’s NARS Lhasa eyeshadow!  I realize that I still haven’t done a full review on this one yet so it’ll definitely be on my to-do list for January.

Moving on to my favorite 2012 blush discovery- it’s NARS Sin!  It’s such a lovely plum shade that I grab for quite frequently!

My favorite drug store lip product this year is Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Cherish!  It’s such a fun bright shade for the Spring/Summer! Can’t wait to wear it again!

My favorite non-drug store lip product this year is actually quite new! It’s my YSL Rouge Pur Couture in Rose Boheme.

Ah, another one that I found that I have yet to do a review for! It’s my favorite mascara discovery of 2012- Covergirl LashPerfection! **Edit: read the official Covergirl LashPerfection review here!**

So those were my picks for 2012!  2012 has been an amazing year.  Our first full year as Hubs and Wife, leaving my corporate job for the freedom to pursue my dreams, new friendships and deeper relationships with friends and family.  I know that I am blessed beyond what I deserve and thank God for the amazing year.  I pray that next year I won’t take a single moment for granted, I’ll live each day to love and encourage others and will find joy in every situation.  Words can’t express how excited I am for the things to come in 2013.
