So let me tell you about my nursery dilemma!  I had the whole look set in my mind for months but it was shattered yesterday once I realized how hard it is to find pretty coral fabric!!  I was so frustrated and stressed at the fabric store, oh my goodness.  Anyway, I’m now rethinking the nursery color scheme and have been on Pinterest looking for some new inspiration.  I was going to go with either gray and white with pink or purple accents but how about both?  Pink and purple are SO much easier (and cheaper) to find for nursery items.

We’ve been looking for the perfect gliding chair for the nursery but I have yet to find one that’s just right!  I saw this pin where someone took a chair from Ikea and turned it into a swivel/rocking chair. I like the look of the chair I just don’t know if I want to have to make the swivel/rocking part, haha.

Hubs and I have some fun plans made for this weekend so this morning will be a bit busy getting this and that prepared.  I’ve been noticing Baby move around a lot lately.  I couldn’t help but laugh out loud this morning because the little movements made me so happy! I wonder what he/she is doing in there. :]

YAY! So glad it’s Friday! This week has gone by super fast but I’m so ready for the weekend! I don’t think we have too much planned but we’re celebrating my Mama-in-law’s birthday on Sunday so it’ll be nice to be with family.

Happy BEAUTYFULL Friday everyone!

The sunshine is pouring into my Mama’s kitchen as I type right now and it makes me so happy!
If our family and best friends didn’t live in Seattle, Hubs and I would probably move to Cali to get more sunshine throughout the year. But that’s definitely not going to happen any time soon since baby is on its way!

Lately I’ve been having really bad dreams where I can’t wake out of them! In my dreams I know that I’m dreaming but I can’t wake up no matter how hard I try.  But this morning was extra weird/scary!  I felt like I was only half asleep in my bed but I couldn’t fully wake up!  I could hear footsteps and breathing right next to my bed but I couldn’t fully open my eyes or move and if I tried to yell or say something I could only get mumbles out.  It took a while to recognize the breathing as Hubs’ but that didn’t make sense because I dropped him off at the bus stop earlier that morning.  The last thing I really remember is that “Hubs” put both hands on either side of my pillow (I couldn’t see him, I just felt it) and then I snapped fully awake.  I immediately texted Hubs to see if he was okay because of those shows where the ghost of loved ones come visiting right after an accident… but Hubs was fine and at work.  I’m not sure what’s going on (is it because I’m pregnant??) but now I’m too scared to sleep in.   Tomorrow I think I’ll set my alarm or have Hubs wake me up early…

I can’t believe it has been nearly a month since my last Pinterest post!  I’ve been so busy traveling that I haven’t had much time to check out Pinterest but this week I’ve been pinning baby stuff like crazy!  I’ll try to give you a variety but if you want to see all my pins feel free to check out my Pinterest boards.

Thanks to Pinterest I realize that I’m loving gray walls for our nursery in either stripes or polka dots.  We’ll add an accent color depending on if Baby is a boy or girl.

I’m always in such a good mood when there are blue skies and sunshine out here in Seattle!
Here are my pins for the week. You’ll probably notice that my pins are becoming more random versus just beauty related.

Also I wanted to give you a heads-up.  Next week I’ll be starting a new series “Confessions of the Heart”.
I told you a while back that I was ready to be open, honest and raw on my blog.
I don’t just want to share with you the happy and good parts of my life but also the hurtful not so “beautyfull” things that I’ve gone through in the past.  I’ve finally mustered enough courage to decide that I’ll sit down next week and pour my heart out on this little bit of space on the internet that I’ve claimed as my own.  It’s not going to be easy but I think in the end it’s going to play a big part in my healing process.  And if I can be a support to anyone in the community that has or is going through something similar it’ll all be worth it.

I hope your day is starting off beautifully!  I’ve been having the hardest time getting out of bed lately. I wake up completely exhausted!  Per Hubs’ advice I’m probably going to start juicing more regularly to see if those extra vitamins help give me a boost of energy.  I’ll be sure to share with you how I juice next week! :]

Happy Friday Everyone!

Yup, it is indeed my 28th birthday today!
Right now I’m going through feelings of excitement, love and a touch of nervousness.
Every year I get older the more I realize that I’m not a kid anymore which scares the ba-jee-beez out of me.
Do you feel the same way? Or maybe I’m the only one that finds becoming a real adult scary. :]

Hubs treated me yesterday to a wonderful spa treatment (my first facial and body scrub- SO relaxing!) and then we had dinner and watched Cirque De Soleil which was AMAZING!  If you  haven’t seen one of their shows yet I’d definitely recommend it.  Plus he got us front row tickets which was fun because the performers would walk right in front of us and sometimes snatch away some of our popcorn, haha!  It was an awesome way to spend my last day as a 27 year old.

Good-bye 27, Hello 28!

I know my 28th year is going to be amazing and full of wonderful new adventures.  I’m excited and hopeful for the new blessings to come.
