Valentine’s Day Projects and Ideas

If you’ve been following my blog for a while I think I mentioned last year that Hubs and I spent our FIRST Valentine’s Day (as a married couple) completely sick in bed.  The weekend before we had eaten something wrong and were bedridden for days afterward. It was memorable but definitely not ideal.

So this year I really want to make Valentine’s Day special like it’s our first one!  I’m pretty used to Valentine’s Day getting the backseat since my birthday is less than a week before it and we’re usually partied out by then… BUT I’m determined to make a valiant effort this year!

Of course I’ve turned to our handy-dandy Pinterest for some inspiration and ideas.  Let’s start off with decor.  Here are some DIY projects that I’ve found that look wallet-friendly too!

I’m not sure which projects I’ll go with but I’m relieved that I’ve got lots of Pinspirations to pick from!

Dinner wise I’ll cook up something that Hubs wants.  I’m thinking it’s probably too late to make a restaurant reservations for that night plus an intimate dinner at home sounds more romantic to me than a crowded restaurant.
