Meal Planning

Do you pre-plan your meals for the week ahead of time?  Honestly, I rarely do this. BUT on the occasion that I do, I find that life is much more organized and easier that week.  Plus if I pre-plan it out I’m much more likely to try out new recipes and actually enjoy cooking dinner!

Some benefits to meal planning are:

  1. You save calories because you’re less likely to eat out at the last minute
  2. You save time by grocery shopping once during the week for the whole week instead of having to take a few trips
  3. You save money! Eating at home is usually much cheaper than eating out!
  4. And overall you don’t need to stress about what to have for dinner everyday.

One of my goals for the year is to live a more organized and stress-free life.  Meal-planning definitely falls into this category.  Here’s an awesome meal-planning template that I found via Pinterest.  What’s awesome is that this wonderful blogger made her templates into free downloads for anyone to use and share!

Here are some recipes that I’m looking forward to making and trying out this week or maybe next week!  These all look healthy and super yummy!

Turkey Chili with Kale

I made this a month or so ago and I loved it!  It’s fairly easy, really yummy and very nutritious!  This recipe makes a lot so this time I’ll be freezing half of it for future days.

Lately I’ve been craving a lot of Korean food.  I grew up eating it everyday and now that I’m living out I miss it a lot!  I love tofu in all forms (fried, boiled and in soups/stews) and it’s a great way to get protein without eating meat!

Now, my next step is to FINALLY set up my laptop to our printer (have been meaning to do this for over a year now) and print out these templates!  Once this is done, I’ll share with you where I keep all my recipes!

Cheers to a more organized and stress-less year!

Wishing you a BEAUTYFULL Tuesday!
